The Music From The Films Of Jessica Alba Post.

This series of posts has a problem, in that I'm restricted to only including music that's been commercially released... which is really annoying in the case of the wondrous Jessica Alba. It means that the terrific themes from the '90s Flipper (there were two) are off-limits, as are David Newman's score for Never Been Kissed, Joel McNeely's work on Dark Angel (although the opening ditty gets a look-in, even if the only episode of either season to give it a respectable airing is "Love Among The Runes") and - less regrettably, it has to be said - anything from Robert Rodriguez's Machete. But do not think the Alba's most frequent collaborator will go unrepresented...

1. Idle Hands Theme - Graeme Revell (3:05)
2. Dark Angel Theme - Public Enemy and MC Lyte (3:07)
3. Sin City End Titles - Robert Rodriguez (3:16)
4. Fantastic Proposal (from Fantastic Four) - John Ottman (2:17)*
5. Four In One (from Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer) - John Ottman (3:04)
6. Rain (from The Eye) - Marco Beltrami (2:42)
7. Guru Vindaloo (from The Love Guru) - George S. Clinton (2:55)
8. Valentine's Day (from Valentine's Day) - John Debney (2:32)
9. Enemas, MIG Fighter and Andi Garcia (from Little Fockers) - Stephen Trask (1:07)
10. Spy Mom (from Spy Kids: All The Time In The World) - Carl Thiel and Robert Rodriguez (2:29)

To make up for the latter two, here are two videos.

Hopefully the next one in the series won't have these problems...

*Technically this comes from both films, as it was tracked into the sequel as well.

The Fantastic Miss Fox Post.

Last night the London Film Festival opened with the world premiere of Fantastic Mr. Fox starring George Clooney, Bill Murray and an absent (thanks to flu) Meryl Streep. Not in the movie but on the red carpet was George's good mate Cindy (and Elisabetta Canalis, who bears quite a resemblance to Cindy... hmm), in London on Omega-related business, so there'll be more of her to come, for sure.

With thanks to here.

The A Lot More Than 35 People Agree Post.

In a 1991 Pepsi commercial, supermodel Cindy Crawford steps out of a red Lamborghini at a remote roadside rest stop. Wearing a white tank top and denim cut-off shorts, she flicks her hair and saunters over to a vending machine, where she buys--and drinks--a can of ice-cold Pepsi. She's oblivious to the two young boys who are watching, spellbound.

The Pepsi commercial, which was created by Omnicom agency BBDO and last aired during the Super Bowl 17 years ago, was rated as the sexiest TV commercial among 35 viewed by eight judges from the advertising industry.

So sayeth Forbes.com (also making the cut: ads for Levi's with Daniela Pestova, Calvin Klein with Brooke Shields - yes, that one - and, of course, beer and perfume spots).
The complete article is here.

The original...

...and the remake.

Sure they were looking at the Pepsi can, in either version. Sure they were.

The Less Reasons To Shop At Morrisons Post.

The above is my new wallpaper, by the way.
The long, long, long list of companies that have availed themselves of Cindy's services just got longer - these shots are for Spar. As in the supermarket chain with outlets all over Europe (including one just down the road from me). The only thing that bothers me about these images is the "Isn't she hot for her age?" talk - as I've said before and will say again, Cindy isn't hot for her age. She's hot full stop.

Here's the source of these, although I first noticed this in The Sun...

The Holy Frakking Schmitt Post.

Evil: I assume you have already seen the new Cindy bikini pics
Me: Oh yeah. :) Fucking amazing.

she's still got the ass that one
Too true. Favourite WWTDD comment: "Cindy may have dated washed up '90s actors, but at least it was in the '90s."
lol

in case you were wondering..Opie and Anthony are American shock jocks

Thanks - I thought it was an Andy Griffith Show reference.
lol

sooo plowable
Mmmm-hmmmmm! Bold was on by mistake but it still works.

Cindy Crawford, demonstrating again her ability to turn men into teenage boys. This is from the shoot for an Australian TV commercial, so expect the YouTube link. Many thanks to the source for these shots. No thanks to the all-too-obviously jealous commenters at another blog.

The My Huckleberry Goddess Post.

Many, many, many thanks to argus1948 for this video of Cindy Crawford early on. Before Presley and Kaia. Before Rande Gerber. Before Val Kilmer. Before Fair Game. Before Richard Gere. Before House of Style. Before Playboy. Even before The Secret Of My Success.

As to the title of this post, listen to the music playing.

The ...And Then Two Come Along At Once Post.

Gisele Bundchen is in the new issue of Harper's Bazaar. But more importantly, so is Cindy - taken by Peter Lindbergh in this spread. That is a must buy when I find it. And so is the newest Allure.

Many, many thanks to Fred Smithson's Celeb Girlz For Charity blog for the heads-up. Especially for this.

The Two Friends Discussing Hayden Panettiere And Vanessa Hudgens Post.

Cindylover1969: At last I can Google Hayden Panettiere again! I was holding off until I saw the end of volume 3... :)
Wrestlingmonkeyz: oh?
Me: Searching for her tends to bring up Heroes spoilers.
Him: aah. how do you know Chapter 4 spoilers wont come up
Me: Shit. Good point... (turns off bold). I didn't think of that. That's a bridge I'll cross when I come to it. Besides, it's not until February.
Him: my roommate met Hayden a couple weeks ago
Me: WHAT?!? Go on!
Him: she was doing a Kohl's event and he was her bodyguard
Me: Oh yeah, I saw the pictures... how was she?
Him: from what he says she was every bit as nice of a girl as we believe she is
Me: That goes with most accounts, thankfully. :) : I don't even mind her tattoo or the fact that she smokes (allegedly).
Him: well the tattoo is no prob, but I havent seen her smoking so I cant verify. unlike Vanessa Hudgens
Me: That's not a dealbreaker in her case either.
Him: its close though
Me: It's not like they're Republicans. Or Catden.
Him: lol. I'd still fuck Vanessa hard, but the smokes will have to go
Me: Smart man... I'd happily let Hayden spank me, by the way. As long as I can return the favour.
Him: yeah
Wrestlingmonkeyz signed off at 03:59

I signed off not long after posting this. (Catden is a poster on CSSA with whom I have various differences of opinion, and that's all you need to know.)

The Cindy In Black & White In Colour Post.

Here's Cindy as part of a Leslie Kee spread featuring loads of models in tribute to the late Richard Avedon...

And three of Cindy's latest Vogue shoot (French variety, a vast improvement on the missed opportunity that was the recent Vanity Fair thing):

Cindy Crawford, ladies and gentlemen. Bringing it since 1988, and quite possibly in kindergarten.

The Happiest Place On Earth Post.

Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and the two blokes were in London's West End last night for the premiere of High School Musical 3. Other than the Disney link and the drop-dead-gorgeous aspect, that has no connection to what this post is about.

Here's Cindy attending Miley Cyrus's 16th birthday party at Disneyland over the weekend, with Kaia (who is almost certainly a Disney fan - they were at the High School Musical 2 premiere as well) and Presley. Why is he looking at Minnie Mouse that way? Mini-perv. Anyway, the event was a treat for lady-watchers (Jennifer Love Hewitt and Tyra Banks were also among the guests), and the babe-on-the-cusp that is Miley also performed, but it's all about Cindy in these parts.

For the record, Miley's actual Sweet 16 takes place on November 23rd. I thought only the Queen of England had two birthdays.

The Not The Song From "The House Bunny" Post.

My favourite reality-TV-created performer, Katharine McPhee, hits US cinemas this weekend (and UK cinemas in October) with The House Bunny. At the end of the movie, presumably, she and other cast members regale us with a version of "I Know What Boys Like." So instead here is the sexy Katharine doing "Connected" for Barbie and the Diamond Castle, since it's an actually good (or at least listenable) record.

The Honestly Seriously Now That's What I'm Talkin' 'Bout Post.

By now we've all seen those blessed pictures of Cindy sunbathing topless, and by now it's pretty damn clear that I can't actually post any of them here. But I can still link...

The Does Cindy Really Suck Young Men Dry? Post.

I don't know about you, but I like the term MILF more than the squirm-inducing "yummy mummy" or more specifically "cougar." And yet apparently Cindy qualifies as one - admittedly it does cover those women who are old enough to qualify as MILFs but who aren't actually mothers, but given that a cougar is a slang term for a woman in her 40s who goes after younger guys (and why does it seem so sordid put that way? Do you get people finding it creepy when you hear about older men going after younger women?.... Oh wait, yes you do. Carry on), the impression that Cindy is a predatory slut is kind of hard to live with. I can imagine Carol Vorderman going to events and scanning the room relentlessly for some hapless buck, but Cindy?

Anyway, my regular Googling of Cindy turned up this for-entertainment-purposes-only cougar draft. I have my doubts about a number of the women therein... but I have no doubts about Cindy's stunningness. Bless her for making me interested in furniture in Canada.
