The Actually, GMTV, It Wasn't A Shock Modern Family Won Post.

Because though I'm decidedly pro-Glee for reasons beyond having disgusting thoughts about Lea Michele, Modern Family is fantastic and richly deserved its Emmys last night. (The GMTV bloke was probably surprised because unlike Glee, Modern Family isn't shown on free-to-air TV in the UK and therefore isn't as widely known as the New Directions group.) That said, I'm less delighted about Edie Falco getting another Emmy (and not at all delighted about Wizards of Waverly Place beating Hannah Montana and iCarly. Again) than in Anne Hathaway getting her first... and hey, Claire Danes finally got the Emmy she didn't get for My So-Called Life! But I still say Bear McCreary's Human Target theme was robbed.

The Shameful Admissions Post.

There are some things I hate to admit, and this is one of them - P*r*zH*lt*n is right on something.

The beating-deserving slug has suggested that Mariah Carey doing a new Christmas album is a great idea... and it is ("All I Want For Christmas Is You" is, after all, the last really good new Yuletide number). I might even buy it. Along with the first one...
