The Stop Lying Post.

The appropriately named Nuts magazine is already a staple of the Go Away And Never Come Back list (it's almost enough to make one seriously consider homosexuality), but their 50 Sexiest Brunettes list gave the top spot to Cheryl from Girls Aloud.

It must have been an oversight on somebody's part.

The Tingling Post.

I keep getting little tingles in my left hand. Something else to see the doc about, if I ever get a chance. And talk to my medically experienced mum about also. I really hope it's not symptomatic of a heart attack... that stuff I do not need. (Who does?)

On the brighter side of heart flutterings, here's the lovely Dutch model Doutzen Kroes. Enjoy!

The Please Let It Be True Post.

Doing my usual Google search for Cindy Crawford, I found out that there are rumours that the other Cindy Crawford - the porn star, natch - is retiring. I don't know if these are true since I don't follow her career (or any porn star's, really) with any degree of closeness, but anything that reduces my turning up articles on the wrong Cindy when looking for the one true Cindy is to be encouraged. Now as soon as G.W. Tush goes away I'll stop turning up articles on Crawford, Texas as well. Hopefully.

Illustration because 1) Heroes starts up again Monday night in the US, 2) Hayden's a far more fetching blonde than the other Cindy Crawford, and 3) it's obvious.

The Long Week Post.

And it'll probably be the same next week. Less staff means more work for us all, including me. Not such a bad thing, but it sucks that I live so far away...

The Yes, But What About Dania Ramirez? Post.

The forthcoming issue of TV Guide Stateside has the women of Heroes (well, three of them anyway) on the cover, and a fine cover it is too - one for the collection, and what surely qualifies as "excellent late night inspiration" (a phrase I heard an ITV2 continuity announcer use to describe Gena Lee Nolin at the end of an episode of Sheena, and it worked so perfectly I've never forgotten it). Which would probably not be the case if the women were Ashley Crow (Claire's adoptive mother), Cristine Rose (Angela Petrelli) and Adair Tishler (Molly Walker).
But this is the opposite of Radar magazine putting "Coming out" on its overrated list - on the surface that sounds wrong, but when they point out that being de-closeted puts you in the same company as the likes of Perez Hilton it's hard not to see what they mean. Similarly, there's nothing wrong with Hayden and Kristen sharing cover space, but this was a golden opportunity missed to spring newbie Dania Ramirez (who plays Dominican newcomer Maya in season two) on people.

Here she is at the Emmys. I mean, daaaaaamn.

And more importantly, since Heroes is a show where major characters are non-whites and non-Americans (whereas most of the villains are decidedly WASPs), including her on the cover would have been a win-win situation all round; Dania would have contrasted well with the others, the readers would have gotten more hotties for their cash, and it would have reflected well on the show's outlook. What say you, folks?

Which is not to say I don't want the mag.

Many thanks to my bosses, by the way, for paying me on Thursday instead of Friday. I hope this continues.

The Last Listened To Russ Meyer's Original Motion Picture Soundtracks Post.

QDK Media can't be accused of false advertising - this CD is indeed the soundtracks for Up!, Beneath the Valley of the Ultravixens and Supervixens. With not only music but dialogue and sound effects; the upside is that the dialogue helps you know which movie you're listening to if you're busy going through loads of pictures of Jessica Alba (for instance, he added). But the downside is... well, I'm not a big fan of movie dialogue on albums a lot of the time, especially since the Up! section of the CD has pronouncements that Mohinder Suresh haters will really despise.

The music itself (William Loose, Paul Ruhland and William Tasker) goes from stripper-suitable scoring to more standard stuff, and combined with the booklet (which features all the credits for all three movies and loads of NSFW pictures), this is practically like seeing the movies. So thanks. It's fun, though... but man, I could do without the dialogue.

The Proof Through The Night That Cindy Rocks Post.

Obvious symbolism, this? Anyway, we have Terry Richardson to thank for this image.

This and more like it turn up here on account of GQ celebrating its 50th anniversary - if only this blog accepted .art pictures I could show you images of the Queen attending its party that would make everyone who gushes over Adriana Lima chop off their own genitalia in remorse. But luckily other people have more adaptable blogs, like Derek Hail here.

If she's on the cover, you will hear my scream of delight wherever you are in the world.

The Cindy/Feltz Post.

Feltz: My main female boss. For simultaneously infuriating and arousing me.

Cindy: Intrada. For releasing three David Newman albums (Malone, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey and now Throw Momma From The Train) in one year.

Additional Feltz: Me, for making too many short posts. :(

The Cindy Post.

Okay, this isn't specifically about her. But with a whole load of work plus Hayden-aimed flak about that dress plus dribbling Usenet morons in general plus no money until Friday plus... you just want to tune out, look at Cindy in red (even if it is at the behest of Stella McCartney) and turn on. Well, I do anyway.
