The Jessica Claire Biel, Straight Guys And Lesbians Thank You Post.

"L.A. face with an Oakland booty. Ye Gods." - Butch Source here.

Inspired by a post on Celeb Girlz pointing out how difficult it was to write anything about the Donald's sexy daughter when Fred had the first ever screen nudity of Jessica Biel as a link to his sister blog. And yes, Fred's post is linked to during this piece.

Down through the first century of film, male viewers have been crossing their fingers and hoping they'll get to see their favourite actresses (or actors, in a nod to those who lean that way) in a state of nature. While some managed to get lucky even back then -
this link has more info - it's still surprising on those occasions when such pictures from the silent era turn up, and maybe if censorship had been less strict then there'd be even more... you just know there were 17-year-olds wishing people like Maureen O'Sullivan or Barbara Stanwyck would turn up naked. (Joan Crawford? Not the same.)

Today as then, some actresses see it as all in a day's work (Crash - the David Cronenberg one - features no less than three veteran screen nudists in Rosanna Arquette, Holly Hunter and Deborah Kara Unger) while others are understandably fiercely protective of what they've been given (we call this Kathy Ireland Syndrome). So while it's lovely when Laetitia Casta, Charlize Theron et al strip off, it's even more special when it's someone you never thought would do it, or when you've been waiting for a while and it finally happens. Which brings us to Jessica Biel.

Oh, Jessica. My second favourite Jessica after the Alba. For some the only reason to watch 7th Heaven on a regular basis (until 2002, obviously - actually a bad year for fans of sexy Jessicas, what with Dark Angel getting axed), for others the only reason the projectionists at cinemas showing Blade: Trinity and Summer Catch weren't lynched. The sporty tendencies both in real life and on screen (her 7th Heaven character Mary Camden was a basketball player, remember?) plus the throaty voice and well-developed arms all say "butch," but the closer attention is paid, the more signs there are that she's all woman. All woman with questionable quality control re script choice, but as both Big Bird and Hannah Montana have pointed out, everyone makes mistakes - and had Powder Blue gotten a cinema release of more than token status we'd be talking pre-Tom Cruise Katie Holmes status at least (remember The Gift?) instead of it being more like Anne Hathaway in Havoc. Still, it's called breaking down barriers. Not that it's up there with apartheid ending or anything, but you get the point. (I have to admit to being pleased that this seems to have caused less of a stir overall than Cindy's creamed-up Allure layout or her bikini shots earlier this week, though...)

Watch her in the most gratuitous bikini scene ever, constantly about to explode out of her naval whites and, as
The New York Times put it, "wiggling her shapely rear through the North Korean backcountry," and Stealth becomes bearable. See her at premieres in clingy dresses and Justin Timberlake becomes... even more killable than usual. Listen to her sing (as she did on 7th Heaven and in Easy Virtue; see the video below) and you realise "What, she can sing as well? Fuck me!" Basically, what I'm saying is she's hot. And this is or could be the start of something big.

She gets bonus points for her last name - with all due respect to three-time Emmy winner Jeff, Beal is wrong (probably because it's close to Neal, which is one of my least favourite names ever. I don't know why). And even more bonus points for, at the time of writing, being due to sign on to romantic comedy Valentine's Day alongside the Alba, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Julia Roberts... and Ashton Kutcher. Into each life.

The Holy Frakking Schmitt Post.

Evil: I assume you have already seen the new Cindy bikini pics
Me: Oh yeah. :) Fucking amazing.

she's still got the ass that one
Too true. Favourite WWTDD comment: "Cindy may have dated washed up '90s actors, but at least it was in the '90s."
lol

in case you were wondering..Opie and Anthony are American shock jocks

Thanks - I thought it was an Andy Griffith Show reference.
lol

sooo plowable
Mmmm-hmmmmm! Bold was on by mistake but it still works.

Cindy Crawford, demonstrating again her ability to turn men into teenage boys. This is from the shoot for an Australian TV commercial, so expect the YouTube link. Many thanks to the source for these shots. No thanks to the all-too-obviously jealous commenters at another blog.

The Christine Mendoza Spot Post.

Butch claims that the spot over yonder (which, if you're reading this on or after September 14, was occupied for the seven days beforehand by Christine Mendoza) could be improved.

You decide. (Stuff it, he's right.)

The Two Friends Discussing Hayden Panettiere's Behind Post.

Because I couldn't be bothered to think of a clever title.

Kenneth: So whats the best way to deal with idiots who said Hayden's ass looks big
in those new pics? im thinking death ray
Cindylover1969: You might take out innocent bystanders. I'd visit them individually and take 'em out.
Him: oh no i use a sophisticated smart chip triggering system for surgical strikes. only the guilty are punished ;-)
Me: In that case, go for it. :)
Him: cause that is
one beautiful butt :-P
Me: True dat. How about dealing with people giving you crap because of her age?
Him: i got over that. believe me i have guilt too ;-) every time I think of Bugs Life I feel guilty buit i get over it ;-) back to Haydens ass for a second.... i never quite know how to use the term "bubble butt" correctly. Hayden in my mind has one correctZ?
Me: That's about right.
Him: works for me

Later on:
Him: Note to self... STOP watching Remember the Titans. it only serves to upset me ;-)
Me: Yes, I can see why.
Him: for me esp cause i love Hayden in that movie and the first time i watched it i said "Wow I hope i have a daughter some day just like her: my opinion has changed
Me: And look how that turned out. :-D
Him: yeah -
daddys little girl grew up

With ITV1 screening Racing Stripes on Saturday, BBC1 showing Joe Somebody (and Raising Helen on BBC3) on Wednesday and the last in the present series of Heroes next Thursday on BBC2, poor Ken's got a lot of temptation. Or he would if he lived here.

In Memory Of: Maria Sharapova exiting Wimbledon.

The This Post Is Brought To You By Dania Ramirez Post.

Cindy: Gerry Kroll from Soundtrackers told me he's located a CD copy of Elmer Bernstein's Spies Like Us (which is entirely Paul McCartney-free, as a bonus).

Feltz: It costs $60, which even when translated into pounds is still a hefty amount for one disc (a rare one, admittedly).

Cindy: There's a copy on sale on eBay.

Feltz: On vinyl.

Cindy: This normally wouldn't be a problem for me (I don't really care about the physical format as long as I like the music, and when I'm world dictator anyone who brags about how much better vinyl sounds than compact disc will be compelled to smash up one record they own- of MY choice - per brag. The way I see it, shit in analogue is still shit).

Feltz: Nothing here to connect the turntable-playing stereo to.

Cindy: I'll probably wind up getting it...

Feltz: ...and it's still preferable to Buysoundtrax's trademark slow sevice. Better late than never, however.

The Is That Your Ad? I Don't Know Post.

At least Lily Allen hasn't got a perfume yet.

Musically nice, visually... well, Mariah Carey baring flesh has never been a problem for me personally. I'm sure Amelie Gillette at The Onion will slate it, but screw her.

And it demonstrates that Britney can in fact bounce back (remember when everyone was writing off Mariah after the breakdown and Glitter and so on?). Too bad Mariah still has yet to have a chart-topper in the UK that isn't a cover version...

I see sunshine on a cloudy day...

As part of NBC's international promotional tour for Heroes, they've divided the main cast members into three groups; British fans of Sendhil Ramamurthy (there surely must be some) are out of luck as he went to Asia with Greg Grunberg, Masi Oka and Ali Larter, while James Kyson Lee, Zachary Quinto, Noah Gray-Cabey and season two newbie Dania Ramirez stayed in the US (and Canada). Paris, Munich and London drew the long straw with Milo Ventimiglia, Jack Coleman, Adrian Pasdar and...

From yesterday's photocall at the London Eye (also visited by The Alba in fictional form during 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer). Red really suits Hayden. And this dress also prevents any almost-nipslips like in Paris.

Sunday (when she, Mr. Bennet and Nathan Petrelli are at LFCC) cannot get here soon enough.

Jessica Alba smiled at me!

First off, the world premiere of Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in London last night suffered from several prannies on podiums in very tight silver bodysuits doing all manner of gymnastics for us outside the Vue West End. I don't know why. Not to mention a lack of people going in who I might have heard of, although the autograph hound in the crowd next to me did get the signature of a redheaded American woman going in who he later told me was Kate Walsh from Grey's Anatomy (and its spinoff Private Practice). If I watched the show I'd have been more impressed.

But it was nice to see Radio 1's Edith Bowman as one of the folks from the world media reporting on the blue carpet (not red); sadly she never came down our way so I could compliment her on how the wind blew her dress into her bottom (or at least say hi). Also, I got here a lot earlier than last time so I got a good view, and also brought The Complete Mission: Impossible Dossier with me to pass most of the six hours until showtime. And it didn't rain at all this time... if I'd brought a chair, a camera, and ESP so I wouldn't have to be in front of a tosser who kept wanting to see Michael Chiklis (apparently he's a mate of his), it would have been perfect.

Anyway, cue the folks yelling for "IOAN!!!" (one woman behind me kept demanding a kiss - I doubt she got it), "CHRIS!!!" (in sunshades, like a good showoff) "TIM STORY!!!" "MICHAEL!!!!" and of course "JESSICAAAA!!!"

Ignore the dried-up jealous haters and whipped/tasteless men on certain blogs - the Alba is better-looking in real life than in pictures; I just want to lick her from head to toe, I do. And I also want to thank the fellow on the carpet who, following the first round of signings before Jessica went to talk to the folks from GMTV, TVE, Entertainment Tonight etc., noticed my urgent calls for her to come over to my part of the crowd and escorted her over to us as soon as she was finished (he's the man next to her in the picture underneath)! Top man, sir.

Jessica's signature is now on my copy of the Fantastic Four score CD booklet (thanks to the organizers for playing some of John Ottman's sequel score over the speakers - much more welcome than the gymnasts), and by now you're asking if I managed to touch her like last time. Well, I did try... and missed her, in the words of Maxwell Smart, by that much.

But I did manage to say something to her this time around (a simple thank you), and I didn't pick up what she said... but she noticed my gesture. And for a few brief seconds, we were looking at each other. (Yes, it is sad. I don't care.) And she smiled at me!

The bloke with her definitely seemed to understand where I was coming from, which helped. But the thing is, Jessica Alba smiled at me! And having that dusky-coloured vision with almond eyes smiling at you is the stuff fantasies are made of, believe you me.

Once I've gotten my own cameraphone or digital camera or what have you, I'll be one step closer to being immortalized alongside one of the highest-ranking members of my staff. But until then, and with many, many, many thanks to Michael - otherwise known as TheArchivist - for making this possible, I leave you with this...

Butch, I own you.

And now, a completely gratuitous shot of Katharine McPhee.

...weep as did Alexander when he beheld the glories of Egypt. - Gene Roddenberry in a letter to Star Trek associate producer Robert H. Justman.
DAYUM. That is one great ass. - TheArchivist in a message to me.

...and Cindy at the "Ocean's 13" premiere.

Not like this, unfortunately.

With Sharon's money worries permeating myself as well, and with my complete failure to care about Jericho getting a mini-reprieve and Prison Break being poached by Sky (and by "poached" I mean "being willing to pay a higher price than Five was" - it's called business, people. Deal with it), I need something to cheer me up.

Mission accomplished. And not in the George W. Bush sense, the actual sense. Having detested the first movie and taken my leave of Sharon when she put on the secon, wild horses could not get me to see the third one. But Cindy could if she was in it.

The end.
