This blog is not affiliated in any way with Cindy Crawford. Even if she is its de facto inspiration. It's also not affiliated in any way with Hayden Panettiere, who's earned joint top billing on this blog because she makes me happy. And that ain't easy.

The I Guess Those Guys Weren't Ready For It Yet... Post.
...but us kids are gonna love it.
I have wanting this to come out ever since... well, ever since Easter of 1986, when I saw the movie at the Globe Drive-In and not only became a fan of the film, but of Alan Silvestri (sitting in Dad's car with the screen blacked out but the credits still rolling, Silvestri's music eventually taking over from Huey Lewis and the News ("Get back, Marty") really got to me). I was so hot to get the album that I managed to get it from a classmate who was a member of Columbia House, and if MCA thought that the 13 minutes on the album (in amongst the songs) was enough, they were sorely mistaken. (In fairness to the Silvestri/Robert Zemeckis relationship, most of their subsequent scores have been better represented. I said most, thank you The Polar Express and the download-only A Christmas Carol.)
More than two decades later, and with no fanfare or hints or anything, it happened. Proving that Douglass Fake and Roger Feigelson are princes among men yet again, and making it seem like it's Christmas in November. It's been a true Holy Grail for many soundtrack fans... it's been one for me. I cannot WAIT to get my hands on this!
While this is a limited edition release, says Roger, we don't want anyone to miss out on this important album. For that reason, we have agreement that we can exceed the usual 3000 limit and do not need to indicate a specific amount on the packaging -- so there are more than enough to go around.
